Choosing the right resin tubing type depends on matching the specific application scenario, the medium being transported, the working pressure and temperature conditions, and environmental requirements. Below is a systematic selection guide to help you make an accurate decision.

Determine the Basic Type Based on Application Scenario Different fields have significantly different performance requirements for resin tubing. Prioritize determining the major category based on the intended use:

Industrial Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems

Nylon resin tubing or high-pressure resin tubing is recommended. These offer high pressure resistance (up to 63MPa), excellent oil resistance (more than 5 times that of rubber tubing), and strong abrasion resistance, making them suitable for engineering machinery, automotive braking and power steering systems.

Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems

TPEE resin hoses are selected, specifically for refrigerant transport. They possess excellent impermeability and low-temperature resistance (-40℃ to 120℃), gradually replacing traditional rubber tubing as a core component.

Chemical and Corrosive Media Transportation

Acidic Environments: Differentiate between oxidizing acids (e.g., concentrated sulfuric acid, nitric acid) and non-oxidizing acids (e.g., hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid). For the former, vinyl ester resin pipes are recommended; for the latter, bisphenol A type unsaturated polyester resin or isophthalic type polyester resin can be selected.

Alkaline Environments: Alkaline solutions easily cause resin "saponification." It is recommended to prioritize vinyl ester resin or epoxy resin, especially under medium to high concentration conditions.

Highly Corrosive or High-Temperature Fluids: Vinyl ester resin is suitable for scenarios containing organic solvents or high-temperature corrosive fluids (e.g., sulfuric acid concentration >50%).

Municipal and Building Water Supply and Drainage Systems

Consider internally and externally epoxy resin coated steel pipes, which combine the strength of metal with the corrosion resistance of resin. Suitable for water supply, fire protection, and drainage systems, the coating offers a variety of colors and strong adhesion.
